Iowa won eight matches during session one of the NCAA Wrestling Championships at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich., on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Iowa ranks second in team scoring with 12.5 points. Penn State ranks first with 15.5.
The two lone Hawkeye losses came from Iowa’s No. 13 125-pound Drake Ayala and Iowa’s No. 18 184-pound Abe Assad.
