Duncan breaks Hawkeye record against Wisconsin

Iowa kicker Keith Duncan has been nearly automatic for Iowa this season, and he showed that with his school-record-breaking 22nd field goal against Wisconsin on Nov. 9 in Camp Randall.

Duncan has hit three field goals against the Badgers, including the record-breaking 39-yarder in the fourth quarter that pulled Iowa within 5 points of Wisconsin.

Duncan entered the game tied for the national lead with Eastern Carolina’s Jake Verity with 19 FGs.

The Weddington, North Carolina, native has now hit 22-of-25 , and he has hit numerous field goals in seven of Iowa’s nine games.

Duncan’s best performance came against Iowa State on Sept. 14, as he nailed all four of his field-goal attempts with one coming in each quarter.

He also scored 14 points against Purdue on Oct. 19, hitting four field goals and two extra points.
