Iowa Men’s basketball hosted its 2023 media day at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Monday.
After getting knocked out in the first round of the NCAA tournament last year, Iowa men’s Basketball hopes to come back strong with three strong veterans, Patrick McCaffery, Tony Perkins, and Payton Sandfort. McCaffery emphasized his desire for multi-positional players throughout his press conference as well.
After the press conference, players spoke to media outlets and hosted an open practice.
Iowa Men’s basketball will begin their season on Oct. 30 with an exhibition game against Quincy University at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
