The Hawkeyes defeated the North Florida Ospreys, 3-0, at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
This is the first time Iowa volleyball played North Florida. The teams were neck and neck in each match but the Hawkeyes were able win the overall game with a couple points ahead each match.
Iowa faces Northern Iowa on Saturday in Coralville.
