Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo. speaks at Carpenters Union Local on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019. The Colorado Senator gave a short speech outlining his political accomplishments and plans for the future, sprinkled with jokes, including some directed at other candidates running in the 2020 election. Following the speech, attendees asked questions regarding education, national debt, immigration, corruption, and other issues. Senator Bennet closed by urging attendees, “Please caucus for the person you think can beat Trump,” adding that he believed he could be the candidate to unseat the president.
