Students and residents of Iowa City gathered in the Iowa Memorial Union on Sunday night for Senator Warren’s rally, who announced on Feb. 9th she will be running for president in the 2020 election. Hailing from Oklahoma, Warren conveyed a strong message that resonated well with Midwesterners about the issues she will confront head-on if elected.
