The University of Iowa Theatre Arts program held a dress rehearsal for “Dance Nation” at the David Thayer Theatre on Thursday. 

“Dance Nation” is a play following young competitive dancers as they battle to go to nationals. Before they hit the nationals stage, they go through a period of anger, confusion, and self-discovery. The show will open at the David Thayer Theatre Friday with performances running until Feb. 10.
