Coralville woman accused of eluding officers, drug use

Authorities have accused a Coralville woman of eluding the police while under the influence of drugs.

Devinity Reynolds, 27, was charged Feb. 28 with eluding, second-offense possession of a controlled substance, and second-offense possession of marijuana.

According to the arrest affidavit, officers attempted to pull Reynolds over for a traffic violation. Reynolds kept driving for more than three miles while being pursued by a marked squad car.

Reynolds’ vehicle allegedly smelled of marijuana. Reynolds reportedly admitted to officers that she was under the influence of marijuana and cocaine.

Eluding is a Class-D felony.
