The Iowa Hawkeyes baseball team defeated the Grand View Vikings, 12-1, at Duane Banks Field on Wednesday.
Iowa brings a 15-3 overall record into the contest, while Grand View is 13-3 overall.
Redshirt junior Kyle Huckstorf leads the team with a .429 batting average. Fifth-year Brennen Dorighi leads the team with 21 RBIs followed by Sam Petersen and Huckstorf with 18. Redshirt sophomore Keaton Anthony and Huckstorf are tied for the team lead with four home runs and Huckstorf has seven stolen bases.
The Iowa Hawkeyes will face the Western Michigan Broncos on the road at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City on Friday.
