Lone Tree man accused of meth possession

Authorities have accused a Lone Tree man of methamphetamine possession.

Ryan Lippard, 34, was charged April 23 with a controlled-substance violation.

According to the arrest affidavit, Lippard was pulled over by an officer who knew Lippard had a warrant out for his arrest. After a field sobriety test, officers conducted a K9 search of Lippard’s vehicle, which search found 5 grams of a crystalline substance.

A controlled-substance violation is a Class-B felony.
