Lineup announced for Mission Creek Festival 2019

The lineup for Mission Creek Festival 2019 has officially been released by the Englert Theatre. The upcoming literature and art festival will take place April 7-9.

Literature readings will include Kevin Young, R. O. Kwon, Stephanie Burt, Sabrina Orah Mark, Michael Martone, Daniel Gumbiner, Mesha Maren, Visual Poetry Synthesizer with Maxwell Neely-Cohen, Maria Kuznetsova, Abraham Smith, and Jennifer Cheng.

For music, the festival will feature Mitski, Jenny Lewis, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Kweku Collins, Makaya McCraven, Moor Mother (performance and reading), Jay Som, Mark Guiliana SPACE HEROES + BEAT MUSIC, Noura Mint Seymali, Lilly Hiatt, Becca Mancari, The Cactus Blossoms, Mock IdentityRatboys, Middle Western, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and Guerilla Toss.

Community events consist of ICE CREAM Comics + Zine Fair, Lit Walk, Literary Magazine & Small Press Book Fair, Big Free Show + Vinyl Market at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom, Underground Showcase.

Comedian Pete Dominick will also be featured in this year’s festival.

Passes are currently available. Individual ticket sales will be open on January 2019.
