The National I-Club treated Iowa fans to a special pep-rally in Indianapolis ahead of the Hawkeye women’s first appearance in the Big Ten Tournament.

It’s tradition for the I-Club to host an event ahead of major Hawkeye sports road events, and fans showed up in full force to support the team at the Tin Roof, a bar only a few blocks from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Joining fans in the action were the Iowa Pep Band and Spirit Squad, who performed fan favorites. Also in the crowd was dog owner Chris Wells, who decked out her pet Otto in Hawkeye apparel.

The team takes on Indiana tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Ahead of one of the most anticipated postseasons for the program in recent history, the Hawkeye loyal are anxious and hopeful for a long weekend in Indianapolis.
