Gabriela Guarín is a first year student at the University of Iowa majoring in English and Creative Writing and part of the Pre-Law program. This is her first year at The Daily Iowan as an Opinions Columnist. Besides reading and writing, Gabriela loves to travel. She’s been to 28 countries and can speak Spanish fluently and a bit of French and German.
