The Daily Iowan’s Pregame Editor Robert Read ranked all 14 Big Ten football teams and previewed every Week 10 conference contest in the 10th edition of Around the Big Ten this season.

Here are the full rankings, along with start time and betting information for every game.

Week 10 Big Ten Power Rankings

  1. Michigan State — Give Walker the Heisman.
  2. Ohio State — Oregon beat OSU in Columbus, so stop whining, Buckeye fans.
  3. Michigan — Jim Harbaugh not winning a big rivalry game was shocking.
  4. Minnesota — If the B1G West Champion has a loss to Bowling Green…
  5. Penn State — No. 3 vs. No. 4 feels like a long time ago.
  6. Wisconsin — Iowa fans are still having nightmares.
  7. Purdue — Much worse when David Bell doesn’t go for 200+ yards.
  8. Iowa — Maybe Iowa should only opt to play defense.
  9. Maryland — Once allowed Iowa to score 51 points in a single game.
  10. Rutgers — Greg Schiano believes Rutgers can win the Big Ten. Let’s give it a decade.
  11. Illinois — We’ll always have the nine-overtime game.
  12. Nebraska — The Huskers would be in the CFP discussion if it weren’t for the six losses.
  13. Indiana — Iowa’s Week 1 win is not as impressive in retrospect.
  14. Northwestern — A Pat Fitzgerald team having such a bad defense doesn’t make sense.

Week 10 Big Ten matchups

No. 5 Ohio State vs. Nebraska

When/where to watch: Saturday at 11 a.m. on FOX | Line: OSU -15.0 | O/U: 65

Big Noon Kickoff being here is cruel and unusual punishment for the Huskers. It’s also very funny.

Illinois vs. No. 20 Minnesota

When/where to watch: Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2 | Line: MINN -14.5 | O/U: 44

The Hawkeyes need help if they want to win the West. Can the Fighting Illini provide some with an upset?

No. 3 Michigan State vs. Purdue

When/where to watch: Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on ABC | MSU -3.0 | O/U: 54

The Boilermakers have a history of beating top-five teams. Isn’t that right, Iowa?

No. 21 Wisconsin vs. Rutgers

When/where to watch: Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on BTN | Line: WISC -12.0 | O/U: 38

Perhaps Rutgers will pick up more than one first down in the first half of this game.

Penn State vs. Maryland

When/where to watch: Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on FS1 | Line: PSU -10.0 | O/U: 56

The Nittany Lions are on a losing streak since the game in Iowa City on Oct. 9. That sounds familiar…

No. 22 Iowa vs. Northwestern

When/where to watch: Saturday at 6 p.m. on BTN | Line: IOWA -12.0 | O/U: 41

The Wildcats have the worst run defense in the Big Ten, so it’s time to get Tyler Goodson going.

Indiana vs. No. 7 Michigan

Where/when to watch: Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on FOX | Line: MICH -20.0 | O/U: 51

If I would have guessed at the start of the season which of these teams would be in the top 10, I wouldn’t have guessed Michigan.
