Video: Hawkeye Marching Band member alleges being bruised by beer can at Cy-Hawk game

The DI on Friday first reported on several Hawkeye Marching Band members’ allegations of mistreatment faced during the Sept. 14 Cy-Hawk game at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. Since then, the UI announced it is continuing the investigation into band members’ allegations and has shared resources with band members.

DITV Assistant Sports Director Jon Rawson sat down with Hawkeye Marching Band member Nathan Topping in the TV studio on Friday. Topping alleged that he was bruised by a beer can that he says was thrown during the game. To hear Topping’s account of the alleged mistreatment, view the full interview.
