Roughly 100 protesters gathered on the Pentacrest for a three-day solidarity event on Friday.
The event was led by activist group Iowa City Students for Justice in Palestine and was in solidarity to the encampments across college campuses in the U.S.
Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, there was prayer, art, discussion, and more.
The protest will continue into the weekend, ending on Sunday, May 5.
