Police responded to reports of shots fired in Iowa City early Saturday morning, according to a press release from the Iowa City Police Department.

Two calls reported a series of five shots in the area of 1202 Arthur St. at 4:47 a.m. Saturday morning, the release said. Officers found shell casings in the 2700 block of Wayne Ave. but didn’t get any more information about the matter from witnesses.

The release said anyone with security camera footage in the area should review their tapes and report to the police if they learn any information from the footage.
