This weekend, one University of Iowa student organization, the UI Breakers, are hitting the stage.
The UI Breakers are a dance group who specializes in break dancing, on top of other college commitments.
“We’re really unbiased in the way we express ourselves and our artistic craft,” president of UI Breakers Charles Truong said. “We have full time jobs, some of us are students, etc., and we still make time to come do what we love.”
The dance group is hosting a tournament at the IMU this Saturday, set up like a variety show with dance battles.
