With every player participating, the Hawkeyes concluded their fall tournament play in Kalamazoo at the Western Michigan Bronco Super Challenge on Sunday.

“We battled in singles … and played a number of tight matches,” head coach Katie Dougherty said in a release. “I’m pleased with how we’ve competed this weekend.”

Both doubles and singles flights played during the weekend.

Sophomore Anastasia Reimchen brought home third place in Flight A.

“In singles, I felt confident … working on my goals, and I had great support from my teammates,” she said in a release.

Sophomore Zoe Douglas and freshman Adorabol Huckleby went undefeated to win flights B and C, respectively. Also ending with a winning record was freshman Taylor Tamblyn with two wins and one loss.

The Iowa doubles teams also demonstrated the ability to win.

Reimchen and Douglas led the way for the Hawkeyes by opening with two-straight victories to advance to the semis in the doubles tournament. The pair lost one match and then finished strong with a final victory.
