An Iowa City man has been charged with his third-offense OWI after reportedly rear-ending a stopped vehicle

An Iowa City man has been accused of committing his third OWI offense.

Randall Moore, 37, was charged Tuesday with OWI.

According to a Johnson County sheriff’s complaint, Moore was driving a 1999 Ford van on Coral Ridge Avenue when he rear-ended a stopped vehicle in front of him.

Officers arrived to the scene and smelled alcohol on his breath. He also had poor balance and a blood-alcohol content of .179.

Moore has two prior convictions of OWI in Johnson County.

Third-offense OWI is a Class-D felony.
