Sixth person arrested in connection with prostitution sting

A sixth individual has been arrested in connection with a Hills prostitution sting that occurred last week.

Anissa Andreya Lee Brown, 18, address unknown, was charged with prostitution.

According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office complaint, an undercover officer contacted an Internet ad in which Brown agreed to meet in the town of Hills.

Brown arrived at the requested location at 2:30 p.m. July 17 and reportedly agreed to perform a sex act for money, the complaint said.

Five additional individuals were arrested last week following a multi-agency prostitution sting.

Law-enforcement officers from Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, the University of Iowa, and the Division of Criminal Investigation were involved in the two-day incident.

During the sting, a 15-year old girl was also involved but was not charged.
