Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is heading back to Iowa.
O’Malley, who is the one of the three presidential candidates vying for the Democratic nomination, will make three stops across eastern Iowa on Saturday.
In a Public Policy Polling survey released Monday, O’Malley more than doubled his polling numbers from 3 percent in September to 7 percent. Frontrunner Hillary Clinton led the poll with 57 percent, followed by Sanders with 25 percent.
There is a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points. Between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, 615 usual Democratic voters were surveyed for Monday’s poll.
According to Daily Iowan records, O’Malley has made the most visits to Iowa of any Democratic candidate this cycle, with more than 100 events in under two months.
