University of Iowa faculty and staff can look forward to a salary increase, according to information discussed at Wednesday’s state Board of Regents’ meeting in the IMU.
Nonorganized professional and scientific staff salary increases will be between 0-4 percent, based upon performance. Increases will average 2.5 percent.
Regent Bruce Rastetter congratulated the Iowa government for "stopping the funding loss."
Nonorganized staff in the Regent Merit System should expect a salary increase of 2 percent on July 1 and a 1 percent raise on Jan. 1, 2013.
