Iowa men’s hoops tickets go on sale

Four new ticket packages for the upcoming Iowa men’s basketball season went on sale on Monday, according to a release.

The Weekend Package includes 13 games played on Saturdays and Sundays and costs $174. The games include six nonconference contests — the only specified one being the Dec. 17 showdown with Drake — and five Big Ten games, including those against Ohio State, Michigan, and Indiana.

Another package is the 14-game Weekday Package, which includes the season-opener against Chicago State, the Big Ten/ACC Challenge game against Clemson, and four Big Ten games including Purdue and Wisconsin. The Weekday Package costs $140.

The 10-game Big Ten Plus One Weekend Package costs $150 and features three nonconference games and five league matchups; the nine-game Big Ten Plus One Weekday Package costs $95 and includes three nonconference games and four from the Big Ten.

The Athletics Department is also selling single-game tickets for all of Iowa’s November home games, and season ticket packages for the general public, Iowa faculty and staff, and current students. Fans can purchase tickets online at HawkeyeSports.com, by phone at 1-800-IA-HAWKS, or at the ticket office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
