Elijah Helton is the Senior Columnist at The Daily Iowan, primarily covering environmental and equality issues. He also serves on the DI Editorial Board, as the print edition’s Senior Designer, and as half of the copy editing team.

Previously for the DI, they wrote “20 Out of 20,” a two-year commentary series on the 2020 Iowa Caucuses. They are a senior at the UI, majoring in journalism and political science.
