The University of Iowa police are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery.

According to a release from the UI Department of Public Safety, officers received a report of an armed robbery on Sept. 29 around 10:45 p.m. The incident occurred north of Rienow Residence Hall near the construction site for the new pharmacy facility, the release said.

The victim was approached by two men, the release said, and one man had a gun. Both suspects ran away after taking cash from the victim, the release said.

One suspect is said to have worn a yellow or orange hooded sweatshirt, the release said, and the other had on a gray hooded sweatshirt.

UI police are investigating the robbery, the release said, and they should be contacted with any information regarding this incident.
