Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of stealing a truck.
Justin Johnston, 29, was charged with first-degree theft on Sept. 8.
According to online court documents, Johnston was shown on video taking a truck belonging to Neumiller Electric. The truck had a value of approximately $20,000, and the equipment inside the truck had a value of around $5,000.
The truck was later found in a ditch approximately 4 miles from Johnston’s home.
First-degree theft is a Class-C felony.
