A local woman has been charged after allegedly stealing from the Iowa City and Coralville Walmarts.
Kathy Pinder, 22, was charged on Sunday with third-degree theft and using a juvenile to commit an indictable offense.
According to a police complaint, Pinder and a juvenile accomplice went to the Iowa City and Coralville Walmarts on July 15 and allegedly stole merchandise worth $575.89. Pinder allegedly promised to pay the juvenile accomplice.
Third-degree theft is an aggravated misdemeanor. Using a juvenile to commit an indictable offense is a Class-C felony.
