The American Institute for Economic Research ranked Iowa City the fourth-best U.S. college destination in its annual College Destinations Index, according to a city press release.
The institute ranks the 75 best U.S. college cities and towns based on academic environment, quality of life, and professional opportunities. Metropolitan statistical areas with student populations of 15,000 or more — 227 nationwide — are evaluated based on these factors.
