A local man faces a marijuana charge.
William Massey, 23, 532 S. Dubuque St. No. 10A, was charged June 7 with a controlled-substance violation.
According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office complaint, a search warrant was conducted at a friend’s residence. During the search warrant, law-enforcement officials allegedly found U.S. currency, scales, packaging material, and individual packages of marijuana.
A controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
