A University of Iowa sorority notified police a stolen wreath had been returned on Thursday.
A surveillance camera at the Pi Beta Phi sorority house, 815 E. Washington St., captured three male subjects taking the wreath — valued at $200 — from the front door on Dec. 1.
Sorority residents reportedly found the wreath had been replaced on Wednesday morning.
Residents requested that the police not investigate the reported theft further.
