The original Java House will leave Prairie Lights Books, 15 S. Dubuque St., on March 7.

It will relocate to the existing Java House at 211 1/2 E. Washington St.

Prairie Lights discontinued the lease with the Java House “to pursue other opportunities in the space,” said Tara Cronbaugh, the coffee shop’s founder and owner in a press release.

A second espresso bar will be added at the Washington Street location along with store promotions and beverage selections.

On March 10, the Washington Street Java House will serve $1 brewed coffee, brewed tea or café lattes all day.
