For those looking to get their hoops fix in the first semester, Recreational Services will host a three-on-three tournament in the Field House South Gym on Dec. 1-3. The price per team is has not yet been decided.

There will be both a men’s and women’s division, and the rules will be typical for a half-court three-on-three contest, which many play when a full squad cannot be formed.

The same days will also feature a 3-point shooting contest in which players will get to participate in an NBA-style contest with five racks of balls to shoot from long distance.

The sign-up for the 3-point contest is open until the day of the competition.

There is no word on whether the competition will feature an ABA-colored “money-ball” or not.
