Authorities have accused an Iowa City woman of stealing from K-Mart.
Cynthia Showers, 56, was charged with second-degree theft on Feb. 5.
According to online court documents, Showers was an employee at K-Mart and allegedly stole items while working.
Over the course of the year, Showers reportedly stole $1,021.54 worth of items.
Second-degree theft is a Class-D felony.
