Arizona man charged after taking advantage of elderly man

An Arizona man has been accused of taking advantage of an elderly man’s poor eyesight.

Walter White, 43, was charged June 26, 2012, with second-degree theft.

According to a Coralville police complaint, White made contact with an elderly man at his residence by offering to blacktop his driveway for him. He offered to this for $360.

Because the victim has poor eyesight, White wrote the amount of the MidWest One Bank check for him. MidWest One Bank surveillance footage revealed White writing the check for $3,600.

Second-degree theft is a Class-D felony.
