The University of Iowa College of Law alumni and supporters have raised $28 million towards the college’s $50 million goal for its Iowa Inspired campaign launched Sept. 28, according to a university press release.
Funding generated through the campaign will provide funding for student and faculty support, law-school programs, and a new student commons in the Boyd Law Building, the release said. The Iowa Law School Foundation is conducting the campaign.
“Our campaign seeks to secure the resources we need to move forward again as innovators — of teaching, of scholarship, and of the programs that help arm our students with the skill-sets they need to lead in their professions, whether in the courtroom, the boardroom, or beyond,” UI College of Law Dean Gail Agrawal said in the release.
