Iowa City man charged with pot possession, intent to deliver

An Iowa City man was charged with possession of marijuana with intent do deliver and keeping a drug house after Iowa City police officers executed a search warrant on his residence.

According to a police complaint, Sean Fleming, 19, 221 Iowa Ave. Apt. 1912, had sold marijuana to an officer on a previous date. During the search of the apartment, officers allegedly located several grams of marijuana, packaging materials, and a digital scale, the complaint said. Most of the marijuana and related items were allegedly found in the living room of the apartment.

Officers searched Fleming’s bedroom, where they allegedly located approximately $970 in small bills.

According to the report, officers spoke with the residents of the apartment, who said Fleming and one other roommate were selling marijuana out of the residence.
