Woman charged with possession of stolen property

A Coralville woman faces charges after she allegedly used a credit card and gift card from a purse she stole from a worker in the Iowa City Probation Office, authorities said.

Morgan L. Rorex, 21, 614 Fourth Ave., was charged with possession of stolen property and forgery.

According to police reports, Rorex used the cards at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and Sonic.

Police said officers found the stolen bag in a larger purse located in Rorex’s minivan.
