The Iowa women’s golf program released its 2013-14 schedule Tuesday, featuring a home event in Iowa City on Oct. 12-13.

“Our fall season provides a lot of comfort and familiarity, because we have seen three of the courses in the last couple of years,” head coach Megan Menzel said in a release. “The strength of our schedule continues to get better and provides great opportunities for us to compete against some very solid competition.” 

The Hawkeyes will travel to Lincoln, Neb., on Sept. 9 and 10 to kick off the fall season at the Chip-N-Club Invitational. Iowa took fifth out of 13 teams in last year’s contest.

The team will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., and Austin, Texas, before returning to Iowa to host the Diane Thomason Invitational on Oct. 12-13.

The Hawkeyes will conclude their fall season in Bruins Creek, N.C., at the Fighting Camel Classic on Nov. 21-22.

The Big Ten championships will be held March 25-27 in French Lick, Ind.
