The Iowa City City Council approved plans for the construction of the Public Works Complex Warm Storage Building Project Tuesday after holding a public hearing.

The project, according to city documents, involves constructing a building on the Public Works Complex for winter vehicle storage. The building will be located on South Gilbert Street between Napoleon Lane and McCollister.

The estimated cost of the project is roughly $178,000.
