A Coralville man has been accused of breaking into numerous apartments.
Faraji Hubbard, 32, was charged Sept. 15 with two counts of second-degree burglary.
According to an Iowa City police complaint, officials received a report for a male checking apartment doors. Residents from Apt. 4 in the complex identified Hubbard as the subject who broke into their apartment while they were home.
After Hubbard left the apartment, the victims found $20 in $1 bills missing from the apartment.
When officials arrived, they reportedly found him leaving Apt. 5 with $198 in cash and the resident’s wallet.
Officers talked to the resident, who was inside the apartment when Hubbard came in, and confirmed the wallet was his.
Hubbard allegedly did not provide any information upon being confronted by the officers.
Second-degree burglary is a Class-C felony.
