Casey Lindus, 26, was charged Sept. 12 with second-offense sex-offender registration violation.
According to a Johnson County sheriff’s complaint, officers received a report from a concerned citizen that small children were reportedly living with Lindus.
Registration information said Lindus was living with his sister and no one else. After further investigation, officials discovered that two small children and another male were residing with Lindus and his sister, despite his registering on May 13 that his sister was the only other person living with him.
As of Aug. 30, this was still true following a tier level verification appearance.
Lindus was convicted on Dec. 5, 2011.
Second-offense sex-offender violation is a Class-C felony.
