A hearing for a woman accused of giving her toddler alcohol was continued for a second time on Monday.

The hearing concerned the possibility of revoking Natasha Kriener’s probation. According to Johnson County Courthouse documents, the hearing was reset for the second time because the state reported it has become aware of additional violations. The documents stated more time is needed so the state and defense can negotiate a resolution to the matter. 

Kriener was charged with negligence and child endangerment on Feb. 15, 2012, after her toddler was found with a blood-alcohol content of .097.  She was given to a 10-year suspended sentence and a three-year probation period on Jan. 28.

After reportedly violating probation on March 4, she was charged with interfering with a Department of Correctional Services officer’s investigation and taken into custody on a $2,500 bond.

The hearing was originally scheduled for July 1 and was then continued to Monday. It is now scheduled for Nov. 5.
