The University of Iowa and Iowa City has been ranked fairly low when it comes to enjoying Big Ten football.
In a ranking created by Motovo.com, Iowa was city was ranked number ten in a list of all twelve cities the big ten schools are located in.
The ranking was created using seven criteria, including the number of sports bars per capita, overall percentage of games won, claimed conference and national championships, received sport radio stations, stadium capacity compared to average attendance, and wins over major rivals.
The University of Michigan and its home city, Ann Arbor, were ranked number one on the list for the school’s number of national championship, conference wins, and a high all-time wins percentage.
The University of Iowa placed poorly in all researched areas but earned points for packing the stands at games.
