The Iowa City police seek public assistance in finding an alleged vehicle burglar.

According to an police press release, on March 7, a vehicle was broken into while parked in the Walmart parking lot, 919 Highway 1 W., and several items were allegedly stolen from the vehicle.

A man wearing a white shirt pictured in a surveillance photo on the police website may have knowledge about the vehicle burglary, the release said.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering up a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
