A Cedar Rapids man has been charged with third-offense OWI and two charges of driving while license denied or revoked.
According to an Iowa City police complaint, Adam Miller, 27, was charged Sunday.
Police officials reportedly observed a vehicle driving northbound on Dubuque Street at Foster Road; it swerved all over the road and crossed over marked lanes of traffic.
Miller was pulled over and admitted having too much to drink, the complaint read. He reportedly smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, bloodshot-watery eyes, and extremely poor balance.
According to the complaint, Miller has three previous OWI convictions from April 4, 2002, June 20, 2004, and May 25, 2007.
Third-offense OWI is a Class-D felony.
Driving while license denied or revoked is a serious misdemeanor.
