Sen. Joe Seng, D-Davenport, will appear on the June primary ballot for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District, according to the Des Moines Register.
This comes after a state election panel dismissed a complaint against Seng Wednesday.
The complaint, filed by Iowa City attorney Paul McAndrew, accused Seng of failing to obtain an adequate number of signatures to have his name on the ballot.
Democratic candidates in the 2nd District are required to obtain at least 1,277 signatures.
