Joe Raso has resigned from his position as the president of the Iowa City Area Development Group.

According to a Tuesday press release, Raso is leaving the development group to become CEO of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and EDC.

Raso will continue his role as president until May 4, when his resignation becomes effective.

Iowa City Area Development officials are now putting together a plan for hiring Raso’s replacement.
