A local woman was charged with domestic-abuse assault and going armed with intent.
According to a complaint, Jalisa Gray, 19, 3505 Shamrock Place, was charged Monday with going armed with intent and domestic-abuse assault with intent.
When officers arrived at the scene, police reported the victim had two punctures to the arm and a large meat fork on the floor that the victim said Gray allegedly used.
Going armed with intent is a Class-D felony and is punishable by up to five years in jail and a maximum charge of $7,500.
Domestic-abuse assault with intent is an aggravated misdemeanor.
