The State Patrol arrested an Oxford, Iowa, man after he allegedly drove while intoxicated for the third time.
Tim Lee Pudil, 41, was charged June 21 with operating while intoxicated. According to a complaint from the State Patrol, Pudil was involved in a car crash June 19 along Black Hawk Avenue; he reportedly told officers he swerved to miss a deer and lost control.
Complaints said Pudil had bloodshot eyes, smelled like alcohol, and had a cold Busch Light beer in his left pocket. Pudil allegedly admitted to drinking prior to the collision.
Reports say he refused an on-site preliminary breath test, as well as tests once he reached the hospital.
